Win32 Database with ADO.NET Provider
With TurboDB Win32 for ADO.NET your application is equipped with integrated database access via SQL. The ADO.NET provider and the database library practically form a unit.
If you are looking for a .NET database engine, please check TurboDB Managed first. It is written in C# and uses our new code base, therefore it is faster and will support upcoming .NET features (e.g. Entity Framework). TurboDB for ADO.NET is mostly conceived to share TurboDB Win32 databases between C++, Delphi, Visual Basic 6, MS Access and .NET applications.
TurboDB Win32 for .NET consists of the Win32 database engine, a native ADO.NET-Provider with DDEX integration, designers for Visual Studio 2003 and Visual Studio 2005 as well as database management tools and the documentation.
The components fit into the development environment in the familiar way and also the programming is identical to the well-known ADO.NET providers like the SQL Server database provider or the OLE DB data provider.
